Paulo Zottolo

Strategic Advisor, Consumer Products

Senior global operating experience in consumer brands and multi-market businesses, applied to founder-led companies navigating growth, change, and transition.

Paulo Zottolo brings more than 30 years of senior operating, restructuring, and M&A experience in global consumer businesses. He has led organizations through periods of growth, market complexity, and strategic change, with a career spanning large multinational brands and founder-led ventures.

Paulo previously served as CEO of Philips Latin America and NIVEA USA & Brazil, where he was responsible for managing complex, multi-market organizations, driving performance, and navigating operational and cultural transformation. These roles required balancing brand strategy, execution, and disciplined capital allocation across diverse geographies.

Earlier in his career, Paulo was Marketing Director at Tyco Europe, where he played a key role in shaping the company’s continental growth strategy, including the acquisition and integration of multiple B2B businesses.

In 2011, Paulo relocated to the United States and founded and successfully exited a consumer beverage startup, adding first-hand founder experience to his corporate leadership background. That combination—having led large organizations and having built a business from the ground up—shapes how he approaches growth, decision-making, and risk.

Applying Global Operating Experience in Founder-Led Businesses

Paulo’s experience inside large, complex consumer organizations gives him a deep understanding of how scale, brand, operations, and capital interact.

At FCL, that perspective is applied thoughtfully to founder-led consumer and retail businesses—helping owners professionalize operations, evaluate growth opportunities, integrate acquisitions, and prepare for leadership or ownership transitions without losing entrepreneurial focus or culture.

Role at FCL Capital Partners

Paulo serves as a Strategic Partner to FCL, advising on consumer and retail investments. He works alongside founders and management teams on growth strategy, operational execution, and post-transaction value creation, particularly in businesses navigating scale, brand complexity, or multi-market expansion.
